My interests include science, technology, film, music, literature, foreign policy and law. I like Apple products, warm weather, whole wheat, roller coasters and British accents. I like my humor dry. I would vote for Stewart/Colbert in ‘08. I mix good and bad fashion, and good and bad grammar, with impunity. I abhor pretension, postmodernity and irony.

Background

  1. At some point in time this seems like a good idea.
  2. At the surrealist they have a slogan generator, into which I typed my name, resulting in this journal’s title: Patrick, unscripted. I removed the comma, though.
  3. At lunch I remarked that my name can be split into two others, Pat and Rick. Someone else said not to forget Trick, so that became my new nickname (despite numerous negative connotations).

I re-themed the site in August 2008 using Coda for the various PHP, HTML and CSS bits. All of this stands on the shoulders of WordPress, without which this site would look more like this. Although I take in the web via Safari, if Windows is your thing I’d recommend Firefox.
